Connecting to Tekmetric or Shop-Ware

Integrate your Shop Hero Dashboard with Tekmetric or Shop-Ware to automatically pull in repair orders, vehicles, and customer data—no more manual entry.

🔌 Why Integrate?

• Sync ROs, vehicles, and customer info automatically

• Avoid double entry and human errors

• Keep your workflow board up to date in real time

🔧 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to Shop Hero Dashboard

Go to app.shopherodashboard.com and log in with your credentials.

2. Open the Integrations page

• Click your profile icon or shop name in the top-right corner

• Select “Integrations” from the dropdown menu

3. Choose your management system

• Click Connect to Tekmetric or Connect to Shop-Ware

• A pop-up will appear asking for your login credentials or API key

4. Authorize access

• For Tekmetric: Log in using your Tekmetric credentials and authorize the integration

• For Shop-Ware: Enter your Shop-Ware API key (you may need to generate this from your Shop-Ware account)

5. Confirm integration

Once authorized, you’ll see a “Connected” status next to the platform you linked.

Shop Hero will now begin syncing:

• Open and recent ROs

• Vehicle details

• Customer contact info

Data will appear automatically as new cards or be ready to attach to a new job.

🔄 What Gets Synced?

⚠️ Notes & Troubleshooting

• No ROs appearing? Make sure you’ve authorized the correct shop or location in your shop management tool.

• Duplicate cards? Avoid creating a card manually for a job that already exists in Tekmetric or Shop-Ware.

• Want to disconnect? Click “Disconnect” in the Integrations tab.

📌 Pro Tips

• Once connected, most users stop manually creating cards. Use the synced data to save time and reduce errors.

• New RO in Tekmetric? It’ll show up in Shop Hero within a few minutes.
